1.400in (35.6mm) Porous Stone, 0.25in (6.35mm) Thick allows the free flow of fluids through soil specimens for consolidation, triaxial, permeability, direct or residual shear strength soil testing, and other laboratory soil tests. They are made of aluminum oxide and provide rigid support of the soil specimen during testing. One stone each is required for the top and bottom of the soil specimen.
