Performance Grade Testing (BBR, DSR)

SuperPaveTM program released in the 90s the new binder Performance Grading (PG), based on the principle that asphalt binders are classified following the conditions under which it is used, basically climatic conditions. The average seven-day maximum pavement temperature is evaluated by the Dynamic Shear Rheometer, while the Bending Beam Rheometer determines the minimum pavement temperature.
