This section includes the Cantabro test that measures the loss of abrasion in laboratory compacted asphalt mix cylindrical specimens, by using the Los Angeles Abrasion machine, and the Duriez mould kit, available with 80 and 120mm diameter, used to compact cylindrical specimens then used to determine the physical and mechanical properties of bituminous mixtures by compression.
